Gear review: HHA Optimizer Lite Ultra Series, Model DS-XL5519


As of to date I have been shooting archery for over 30 years. In that 30 plus yeas I have gone through numerous gear changes. I am kind f a gear nut and love to try new things. The one thing that has never changed is I have always shot a multi pin sight. I started out with 3 pins, then went to 5, and the went to a 7.  This improved my long range shooting but I also started to clutter up my sight picture.  I needed something a little simpler that would give me the accuracy and durability that I demand. 3 Steps to Cure Target Panic

A few weeks ago I stepped out of my house to do a little archery shooting. It was a beautiful fall afternoon. I stepped up to the line and knocked an arrow, pulled back, settled into my anchor and watched as my arrow found its mark. I shot another dozen arrows with similar results. And then it happened. I drew back and found my anchor point. I started to settle my pin on the X and then I did a whole body convolution as I jerked the trigger on my release. I said to my self “What the HELL was that?”. Gear Review: Moultrie M-880

Moultrie M-880 Gear Review 001At the first of every year I go through my hunting equipment and evaluate what items need to be upgraded.  This year I decided to upgrade my trail cameras.  I started researching the different makes and models out there and decided to purchase the Moultrie M-880.  I have used Moultrie products in the past with great success.  I have a Moultrie M100 and have never had any problems with it.  Which made my decision to stay with Moultrie products that much easier.
