New Exhibitors Bring Latest Gear, Equipment and Ideas to Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show

HARRISBURG, PA – So your family, friends and hunting buddies didn’t gift everything on your holiday wish list? No worries – find everything you asked for-at the 2013 Eastern Sports & Outdoor Show, February 2-10 at the State Farm Show Complex, Harrisburg, PA. Everything you need for hunting, fishing, camping boating and the great outdoors will be within your grasp in one place-including new products from over 200 first-time exhibitors.

“The Eastern Sports & Outdoor Show is always packed with the latest in cutting-edge hunting and fishing gear. If you have read about it, heard about it, or have seen it on TV, it’s a good bet you’ll find it at the Show.” said Chris O’Hara, Event Director for the Eastern Sports & Outdoor Show.

O’Hara also said that there will be several new manufacturers at the 2013 Show displaying some very exciting new products.

“If you are archery hunter, then we have 2 full halls just for you. And one of our new Exhibitors is so big – with 4,000 square feet, that we had to put them in the Expo Hall (Fishing hall),” said O’Hara.

“There are several new exhibitors in the Fishing/Boating Hall at the Show as well,” said O’Hara. Thorne Brothers of Blaine, Minnesota, widely known for their hard-to-find custom musky baits will be featuring their custom tackle, lure and baits. Brass ‘n Blades will exhibit their lines of freshwater and saltwater lures.

For those looking for something just a little bit different, iScope is a new (patent-pending) Smartphone scope adapter which allows users to see a full screen view of what you would normally see through your scope, allowing for easier, safer shooting, better accuracy and the option of filming your hunt from the eye of the shooter. Wild Evolution is bringing their “Little Runt” turkey decoy-and to get the edge on everything wild, stop by Dirty Buck Soap’s booth, featuring their line of bathing soaps designed to mask human scent.

Beavertail and Duck Water Boats, Inc. will display their latest offerings of custom duck boats and blinds for waterfowl hunting.

What about the outdoorsman/woman that has everything? ICEHOLE Coolers will be selling their 100% American made, military grade performance coolers. Or, try on a set of Gatorskins, cold weather hunting apparel. Triple C Cutlery will feature custom made knives and sharpening products for the true outdoorsman.

If you’re looking to keep that trophy buck on your side of the fence, visit Golden Valley Enterprises and check out their high quality food plot planting equipment, seeders and planters.

    Sigh.

Is is a fantastically huge sport show! It is also a nightmare… from a exhibitor-outfitter standpoint. Way back when, we attended the Eastern Sports show for more than 10 years. It was the biggest even then, and growing.

Why did we stop showing? It became a waste of resources. Much like a county fair, most folks are there to “kick tires” and pick up bags and bags of outhouse reading. Visiting, catching up and buying flies and turkey calls…

Not only…of course, but it is an incredibly long time to be away during one of the most dangerous times of the year to our stock and with so many new trainees always in residence… it became obvious that being here, online, and at home here, in Chisana, Alaska, had a much higher benefit, to us and our clients and guests.

Bla! Are you going to BE there, Carrie?! Sheesh, NOW you go! LOL, boy we’d have gotten in too much trouble… Just sayin…

I’m not really doing any tradeshows this year. I’ve been going strong for a few years and this year I’m saving my vacation dates for some trips. We have our 10 year anniversary coming up and the AGLOW convention is in Wisconsin this year so I’m trying to be careful with the days. I just don’t get enough to do everything I want LOL

I am an admitted “tire kicker” so I can’t blame you at all. It seems like it would not be very cost effective for the 8 legitimate leads you might get out of the whole show!!
