The Invitation
“It doesn’t interest me how old you are.
I want to know if you will risk feeling like a fool for love, for your dreams, for the adventure of being alive.
I want to know if you can be with joy, mine or your own; if you can dance with wildness and let ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes without cautioning us to be careful; to be realistic, or to remember the limitations of being human.
It doesn’t interest me where or what or with whom you have studied.
I want to know what sustains you from the inside when all else fails away.  If you can still conquer when all is lost and fly when your wings have been clipped.
I want to know if you can be alone with yourself, and if you truly like the company you keep in the empty moments.”

Fly Fishing in the Bahamas

Recently I came across a press release for a company out of Montana that specializes in fly fishing adventures and I was somewhat intrigued, mostly because I do enjoy fly fishing and because I love to travel. I became much more excited when I saw they offered trips to the Bahamas. I’ve been pestering Zach about going to the Bahamas for a few years now. A Wisconsin Hike on New Years Day

Once I got past my twenties, the years of hitting a nightclub, dropping $200, and not waking up for 2 days were a thing of the past.

I started looking for new and exciting ways to ring in the New Year.  Beer and shots of Jaegermeister were replaced by a more refined palette of champagne and usually some sort of at home grilled seafood combo.
